This is Aaron.
Designer. Visual Artist. Creative guide.
This is the what. The who is more layered.
Aaron Drake has always been pulled toward art and design. Curiosity took him through graphic design, illustration, and analog photography, where he fell in love with the creative process. He studied Communication Design and Marketing at the University of North Texas, then joined Fossil Group’s in-house art department as a designer and illustrator.
That curiosity led to watch design, a blend of graphic, industrial, jewelry, and fashion design. He built a strong team and helped grow Michael Kors into the top-selling fashion watch brand in the United States. He went on to lead design teams for DKNY, Marc Jacobs, Kate Spade, Karl Lagerfeld, and PUMA.
Along the way he sharpened empathy for the user by asking why we create, how objects carry meaning, and what turns desire into value. He learned that process fuels inspiration, constraints create ideas, and steady practice creates growth.
Today, Aaron works at the intersection of brand and product. He designs identities and objects people feel and remember. He mentors creatives, teaches simple systems that help teams ship, and makes art about the experience of being alive. He is still learning. Still making. Still helping people see themselves in the work.
